Direct Stone Tool Supply is a leading supplier to the stone fabrication and construction trades, with locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. We are expanding our team at our new San Leandro location and are looking for a dependable, hardworking, customer-focused individual to join our team.

Customer Service / Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate
Reports To: Store Manager
Position Requirements
Must be 25 years of age or older, or have a high school diploma/GED
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass in-house forklift training
Basic computer skills required
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
Must pass a credit and background check
Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
Responsibilities
The Customer Service / Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with daily store and warehouse operations. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist customers with product questions, selections, and orders
Provide excellent customer service at the counter and over the phone
Process and invoice customer orders accurately
Make local deliveries as needed
Safely load products into customer vehicles and delivery trucks
Receive, stock, and organize inventory
Assist with inventory counts and inventory management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and showroom
Operate a forklift after completing company training
Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Assist other team members as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, organized, and customer-service oriented. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is comfortable working with customers as well as performing physical warehouse duties.
