At this price, it's easy to create a lively, eye-catching school. CPDs tend to thrive when kept in groups of 10–12 or more. For example, I keep about two dozen in a densely planted 20-gallon setup.
• Size: approximately 1" (sub-adult/adult)
• Pricing: $4 each [can mix and match quantities with fish in my other ad, red-neon blue-eyed rainbowfish]

• Suggested minimum purchase: 5 fish
• Pickup: Pickup in San Leandro, usually on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Porch pickup in San Carlos is also available.
These fish are tank-raised and bred locally in clean, soft water - no imports and no routine medications, just healthy, well-acclimated stock. Their colors typically deepen as they mature in a stable aquarium environment.
