If you have comics or collectibles you’re thinking of selling, you NEED to read this!
If you have vintage comics or collectibles that you're thinking of selling, don't get taken in by a fast talking "collector" who wants to swoop in, take all your best books, and then vanish. I can't tell you how many sad stories I've heard from Craigslisters, about people who present themselves as private "collectors", give a song-and-dance story about how they're paying you 5X more for your books, and then cheat you out of a fair value for your comics. Before you even realize that you've been taken, they are down your driveway, and gone forever. Not to mention the newest angle....they are looking for your "unwanted" antiques & collectibles?!?! Really??? Unwanted collectibles? You owe it to yourselves to at least visit ONE reputable dealer, and get an appraisal, before you decide to sell your collection. At Heroes in Campbell, we offer FREE, no strings attached appraisals...and even if you don't sell to us, the knowledge that you come away with will keep you from making a tragic mistake. We have been in business for 41 years, and you can always find us at the corner of W Campbell Avenue and San Tomas Aquino Road....we don't disappear into the night after we buy your comics!!
I understand that a lot of "collectors" post on Craigslist, and try to convince you that they will pay more for your comics. This is simply not true. I urge you not to take their word for it (or mine, for that matter)...get their offer, and then get one from me, and compare, BEFORE you let them cherry pick your books. These "collectors" are either bringing your books and reselling them to me, or they're flipping them on Ebay for a profit. Don't be fooled by the oldest lie in the collectibles business. These are not "collectors", they are just grey market resellers. Yes, dealers buy comics for resale, but at least we're honest about it!
WE WILL PAY YOU MORE FOR YOUR COLLECTION! JUST COME IN AND GET OUR OFFER!!
