Abovetrast Capital is seeking a Survey Researcher focused on aging and retirement-related insurance research. This role supports the development of retirement insurance, long-term care insurance, senior living insurance, and Medicare-related products by analyzing data related to longevity, health conditions, care utilization, and retirement behaviors among senior populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and conduct surveys on retirement readiness, long-term care needs, and senior living preferences
Analyze survey, demographic, and healthcare-related data to identify longevity, morbidity, and care risk patterns
Provide research support for insurance product design, underwriting, and pricing decisions
Collaborate with actuarial, product, compliance, and operations teams
Prepare research summaries, analytical reports, and internal presentations for investment and strategy teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in survey research, public health, health economics, actuarial science, social science, or related fields
Experience working with aging, retirement, healthcare, or insurance-related data
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods
Ability to translate research findings into clear, actionable insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
Experience with statistical tools or data platforms is a plus (e.g., R, Python, Stata, SPSS)
