Lore is a speakeasy and escape room on 16th Street in Mission, known for unique craft cocktails and fun events. We're hiring a part time weekend bartender to cover Friday and Saturday nights, with the possibility of one additional weekday shift.
Some experience as a barback or bartender is required, but early to mid-level bartenders are encouraged to apply. Our bartenders are very experienced and happy to train you. We care most about reliability, work ethic, cleanliness and how you treat the people and spaces around you.
What we're looking for:
• Clean and organized: you take pride in keeping the bar, tools, and your station spotless
• Detail oriented: you pay attention to garnishes, glassware, restocking, and closing checklists
• Punctual and dependable: you show up on time, every time, ready to work
• Easy to work with: you're friendly, communicate well, take feedback openly, and support your teammates
• Protective: you look out for guests, coworkers, and the bar, check IDs carefully, and speak up when something doesn't feel right
• Flexible: you adapt well when plans or needs change
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a barback or bartender
• Available every Friday and Saturday night
• Comfortable closing every shift, as late as 2:00 AM
• California RBS certification, or willing to obtain it within 60 days of hire
• At least two professional references
