Quality:
There’s the licensed Barcelona chair sold at DWR (currently selling for more than $11,000 for their leather versions, and $6k+ for fabric). And there’s this one. Among those in the know, is indistinguishable, manufactured by Casprini in Italy. Sadly, it’s no longer sold, and if I didn’t need to part with it I never would. Importantly: unlike almost every other reproduction on the market, the straps are riveted and won’t break, and the leather is top-quality and isn’t going to crack.
Condition:
It’s been wrapped in (breathable) plastic since I bought it, since I had a custom fabric cover made for the back and seat. A design piece, I’ve probably sat in it less than 10 hours total. The seat material springs back instantly when you get up.
Pickup is easy:
There’s a white zone out front and I can run it down. Happy to plug it in to show that it works.
Delivery:
Is free at the asking price / you live within SF. I remember what it was like to be without a car. If not at the asking price, please suggest a reasonable amount for delivery.
