Mission District | San Francisco
Konbini is an elevated Asian convenience store in the Mission District, and we’re looking for a part-time store associate to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, curious, dependable, and genuinely passionate about food. If you love discovering new snacks, drinks, ingredients, and Asian food culture — and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with customers — you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll do:
-Run the register and handle transactions
-Stock shelves and keep the store organized and looking great
-Learn about our products and help customers discover new favorites
-Pitch in wherever needed — we’re a small team, so everyone plays a part
What we’re looking for:
-Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
-Passion for food, especially Asian food and culture
-Curious and excited to learn new things
-Positive demeanor and comfortable interacting with customers
-Detail-oriented and organized
-Retail or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
-Mandarin or Cantonese preferred, not required
This is a part-time position with opportunity for growth for the right person. As we grow, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and hours.
We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a small, growing neighborhood business and is excited to learn along the way.
Location: Mission District, San Francisco
Schedule: Part-time; availability will include some weekends
Compensation: depending on experience
