This is the industrial-tier machine, not a hobby printer. Heated build chamber up to 100°C means it actually prints ABS, ASA and carbon-fiber-filled materials properly, without warping. Dual extrusion with soluble support for clean geometry. Originally sold for around $6,500.
Build volume 7.5 x7.5 x7.75 single extrusion
Includes:
• Model 1C extruder (hardened, for carbon fiber composites)
• Support extruder
• Theres some plastic and i think another extruder.
Condition: good, no damage. Well cared for, low usage.
Two things I want to be upfront about, so nobody’s surprised: MakerBot discontinued their old slicer software, but the Method X is fully supported in UltiMaker Cura now, which is free — so it slices and prints fine. And extruders are consumables, so budget for replacements eventually as with any printer.
Local pickup only: It weighs about 65lbs so bring a hand truck/friend.
Great fit for makerspace, engineering program, prototyping shop or anyone who want real end-use parts instead of PLA
