Job Details:
Position: Kitchen Helper
Location: Fusion Dumpling Restaurant 650 Jackson Street, San Francisco
Working Hours: Based on shift schedule (negotiable)
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all tableware, cookware, and utensils to meet high hygiene standards;
Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as food prep or cleaning as needed;
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including garbage disposal and floor cleaning;
Complete other duties assigned by the kitchen or management team.

Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions;
No prior experience required – we provide on-the-job training;
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail;

As a server, you’ll be the face of Fusion Dumpling—greeting guests with a smile, guiding them through our unique menu, and delivering an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Greet & Seat: Welcome guests warmly, manage seating flow, and maintain an organized waitlist during peak hours.
Menu Expertise: Master our creative dumpling and fusion menu; confidently answer questions and offer tailored recommendations.
Order Accuracy: Take precise orders, input them swiftly into the POS system, and coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless service.
Table Service: Deliver food and beverages promptly, check in on guest satisfaction, and handle special requests with grace.
Cleanliness Champion: Keep tables, menus, and service stations spotless; assist with side work like rolling silverware and restocking condiments.
Team Player: Support colleagues during rushes, help bus tables, and jump in wherever needed to keep service flowing.
Payment & Closing: Process payments accurately, thank guests sincerely, and perform end-of-shift cleanup.
What You Bring
Energy & Enthusiasm: A positive attitude and stamina to shine through busy shifts.
People Skills: Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong communication.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to commit to a consistent schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
Experience (Preferred): Previous wait staff or customer-facing role is a plus, but we’ll train the right attitude!
Physical Ability: Comfortable standing for long periods and carrying trays up to 25 lbs.
Availability: Flexible for part-time or full-time; must work peak dinner rushes and weekends.
