Barista
Now Hiring: Experienced Baristas at Mellow (Upper Haight)
Mellow is a small coffee bar on Upper Haight opening a new chapter: coffee by day, live music and drinks by night. We're hiring experienced baristas to grow with us through it. This role goes beyond dialing in shots. You'll move between the bar, checking out guests with our curated retail, restocking, and making sure everyone who walks in feels welcome. Small crew means what you do matters, and we notice.
What you bring:
- Specialty coffee experience (required)
- Weekend availability (required)
- Calm hands in a busy rush
- A clean, organized bar is your natural state
- You take initiative, communicate clearly, and take feedback well
- You genuinely enjoy hospitality (this one's not v fakeable)
Who we are: Mellow is built on quality, warmth, and a real sense of community. We're not chasing scale for scale's sake. We're building something singular in one of SF's most storied neighborhoods, and we want teammates who feel that :)
