Beautiful custom-built Firefly titanium road bike in excellent condition. Designed and handcrafted in Boston, this is a true boutique road bike built without compromise. The frame is exceptionally clean and has been meticulously maintained. It has been freshly tuned and is ready to ride.
Firefly was founded by former Independent Fabrication builders and has become one of the world's premier custom titanium frame builders. Every frame is individually designed and hand-built in the USA using premium titanium tubing, combining the lively ride quality titanium is known for with modern performance and meticulous craftsmanship. Unlike mass-produced carbon frames, every Firefly is unique. Today they're considered one of the most respected titanium builders in the world alongside Moots, Seven, No. 22, Mosaic, Baum, and Bastion.
This frame features internal Di2 routing and was originally paired with an ENVE carbon fork, making the frameset alone a roughly $5,500 purchase before any components were installed.
The bike is equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 2x11 speed electronic drivetrain featuring a Dura-Ace 50/34t crankset with a 4iiii power meter, Dura-Ace Di2 front derailleur, and an Ultegra Di2 long-cage rear derailleurpaired with an 11-30t cassette for improved climbing without sacrificing the precision of Shimano's flagship electronic shifting. Dura-Ace dual-pivot brakes provide outstanding stopping power.
Premium components continue throughout the build with a Chris King headset, Firefly titanium stem, Bontrager XXX carbon aero handlebars, and Bontrager Aeolus 3 TLR carbon wheels built around DT Swiss hubs. Schwalbe Pro One 28mm tires complete a lightweight, comfortable, and thoroughly modern setup.
As a bike mechanic, I went through the bike carefully to make sure everything works exactly as it should. Shifting is crisp, bearings are smooth, brakes are properly adjusted, and the bike has been fully tuned. It needs nothing and is ready to ride.
The geometry is comparable to a traditional 57cm endurance road bike, making it best suited for riders approximately 5'10" to 6'1", depending on inseam and riding style.
