The Sea Star is hiring! We are a neighborhood cocktail bar, located in the heart of Dogpatch a few blocks from the Chase Center. We are a small team with a great clientele full of regulars from the neighborhood, as well as guests from Chase & Midway events. Looking for dedicated staff that have a good attitude, general cocktail knowledge and are excited about being part of a great team!
Must be:
* Punctual!
* Friendly and polite with guests and co-workers
* Have general cocktail and classic cocktail knowledge
* Have general spirits knowledge and open to ongoing education
* Be able to handle a crowd with grace, read the room and help create a good vibe even in the busiest atmosphere
* Able to communicate efficiently with guests and co-workers
* Well groomed and presentable for your shift
* Sense of humor is a strong bonus - we love a good laugh around here!
We are also a dry bar. If you have a hard time making it through a 6-8 hour shift without a shot or a beer, this may not be the job for you. It is important that our staff maintain a level of sobriety and integrity to be able to handle any situation that comes their way.
If you think this would be a good fit for you, please respond with your resume to this listing.
Cheers!
