Life Skills Community Integration is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Behavior Day Program
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Part-time and Full-time positions available
Creative talent such as sports, culinary skills, graphics, photography, woodworking, painting, music, arts and crafts, and ceramics is highly valued
Support participants in community settings such as shopping at grocery stores, retail locations, restaurants, and public transportation (Metro and bus)
Navigation, safety awareness, and problem-solving
Encourage independence while providing guidance and support
Model positive communication and behavior
Work as part of a supportive team
Participants
Adults with developmental disabilities
Mild behavioral support needs
Emphasis on structure, prevention, and positive engagement
Qualifications
Enjoy working with people and spending the day out in the community
Active interests (sports, fitness, music, arts, hobbies, etc.) to share with participants
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable, patient, and respectful
No criminal record: Must go through Criminal Record Clearance.
Valid California ID or California Driver's License (CDL)
