Trek Madone Project One frameset in size 56cm. This is a top-of-the-line, made in Wisconsin, carbon fiber frameset with custom paint. This is Trek's 700-series carbon, which is the high end carbon used on their top models. Size is 56cm. My best guess is that this is a 2013-2014 model. One benefit of the Project One custom builds is increased tire clearance. Stock Madones will barely take a 28mm tire, but this frame has more tire clearance, likely accepting up to a 30mm tire! I measure a 56cm effective top tube and a 170mm head tube length.
Includes frame, fork, headset, Trek carbon stem, Trek seat mast topper, and Dura-Ace direct mount brake calipers. Wheels shown in photos are for reference only and are NOT INCLUDED. This frameset can accommodate a mechanical or electronic groupset and has all the fittings, derailleur hangers, and small parts ready for a build. Also includes BB90 bottom bracket bearings. This is a used frame, so it has some nicks and chips from normal use, but it still looks great and rides wonderfully.
The frame has a CRACK on the underside of the top tube! Someone foolishly put this high-end bike in a workstand and clamped the top tube. It is rideable as is, but it will be up to the buyer to decide to leave it as is, do a DIY carbon repair, or get a professional repair (estimated at $400). These bikes sold for something in the vicinity of $8,000 when new.
