Hand-painted in Japan. I've been collecting this pattern for years, and it's time to let go. The dinner plates and many other pieces are in very good condition with clear, sharp images. Some of the saucers and bread plates are quite good, others have discoloration and crazing, with a few chips/rough edges. Price includes all!
