This boat has a motor that wont start. It cranks, but doesn’t turn over. I’m suspecting washed rings. I don’t know what the compression is, I’m just surmising.
San Diego Marinas and mooring balls require a survey. This boat won’t pass the survey because of the engine problem.
When buying this boat you will immediately need to take it somewhere to get it worked on.
Either to a boatyard or a slip. Several marinas have transient slips. One I have considered going to is called Fiddlers cove they have monthly rates. You will need a military ID, or be accompanied by someone that has one.
Vessel is being sold strictly AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with expected wear, tear, and deferred maintenance typical of a boat of this vintage. I live in PHX, the boat is on a mooring ball in SD Bay. It is moored with San Diego Mooring company. They emphatically state that the ball can not be sold with the boat. Do you have a slip or a mooring ball?
