My Live-in Caregiver was hit in an intersection by a drunk driver who ran a red light while she was riding motorcycles with a friend on August 15th.
I need temporary help. I can't say how much or for how long. She was in the hospital for about 11 days, now she is in a Skilled Nursing Facility, at this point until the middle of October. If she's returned to my home, we both will need additional help.
There are two cats in an enclosure in the garage which I cannot care for, because I am deathly allergic to cats. They need to be checked upon, watered, fed, cat litter emptied, maybe a pet or two.
My caregiver also has a 16-year-old pug/chihuahua mix ESA dog that needs to be walked. I am Disabled (partially ambulatory) and legally blind so I cannot do it. I have a little faux grass out on the patio where he does his duty. It needs to be cleaned. He's also old and sometimes he craps in my house. Because of that, I need periodic mopping of the common areas.
I also have a vehicle that's parked out front, that needs to be rotated in spaces because it's been sitting there and the apartment complex is complaining.
I have a post office box in the complex, as well as one in Mira Mesa. I also have medication that needs to be picked up from CVS in Mira Mesa.
If you are interested in helping me and my caregiver, who also happens to be my daughter, please let me know what your rates and availability are.
I'm legally blind and visually impaired. Someone who could help me as a private secretary who has a background in office or secretarial work. There could be other arrangements made.
