This is a museum-quality charcoal and pencil drawing of two beautiful cats on watch and at repose by Los Angeles artist Cathy Kanin. Her work is incredibly scarce and a masterclass in tonal realism, exquisite detail, and light dispersion. She is a talent and this is a large original work on Strathmore paper. The realism in the faces, eyes, tails, and furniture is mesmerizing.
