Our fast-casual Japanese restaurant in San Clemente, CA is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Part-Time Cashier and a Part-Time Kitchen staff to join our team! We are dedicated to serving delicious, high-quality meals with excellent customer service.

🕒 Shift Details
Days: Weekdays (Monday through Friday)
Hours: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Perfect for students or those looking for a stable evening shift!)
Status: Part-Time
💰 Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $ 18 / hour + Tips(around $2 /hour)

📋 Responsibilities
Cashier =
Greet customers warmly and take food orders accurately using our POS system.
Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked front counter and dining area.
Package to-go orders and ensure all condiments and utensils are included.
Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
Kitchen Support: If the kitchen gets busy, jump in to help with very simple tasks for a limited time, then return to the front desk.
Kitchen Staff =
In this role, you will be responsible for carefully shaping and assembling our signature onigiri and serving our daily side dishes. There is no cooking involved in this position, allowing you to focus entirely on food assembly, prep work, and maintaining excellent presentation. A top priority for this role is cleanliness, and you will be expected to keep your workstation and the kitchen environment pristine at all times.
🎯 Requirements
Must be punctual, responsible, and team-oriented.
Strong communication skills and basic math skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently under pressure.
Must have reliable transportation to San Clemente.
Food Handlers License: A big plus due to occasional kitchen support. (If you don’t have one, you can get it online in a few hours and the cost will be fully covered by us).
Prior experience is a plus but not required—we are happy to train the right person!
