Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing environment and be committed to maintaining a safe, productive, and organized workplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
Transport materials to and from production lines and designated storage areas.
Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Verify product quantities and inspect materials for damage.
Maintain accurate inventory movements and documentation as required.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Assist with warehouse and production support tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing environment (required).
Previous experience loading/unloading materials and supporting production operations.
Ability to safely operate forklifts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping documents, and inventory records.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to work in varying warehouse and manufacturing conditions.
Capable of working overtime and weekends as needed.
Work Schedule - 2 Shifts available (positions are not on bus route- must have reliable transportation)
Day Shift 6:30am to 6:30pm $18.00 per hour
Night Shift 6:30pm to 6:30am $19.00 per hour-
Preferred Qualifications:
Current forklift certification.
Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial settings.
Work Environment: This position is based in a manufacturing facility with exposure to moving machinery, forklifts, varying temperatures, and production-related noise levels. Proper PPE must be worn at all times.
