Job Description
Samuel’s Handyman Service LLC is looking for an experienced handyman/remodeling technician who can handle jobs independently and provide professional workmanship in customers’ homes and businesses.
This is not an entry-level position.
I am looking for someone who can be given a job, understand what needs to be done, solve problems as they come up, communicate professionally with the customer, and complete the work without needing constant supervision.
Work can vary from smaller handyman repairs to larger remodeling projects.
Types of work may include:
- Carpentry and trim work
- Door installation and repair
- Window installation
- Drywall repair, finishing, and texture
- Interior and exterior painting
- Deck and fence construction and repair
- Tile installation
- Bathroom remodeling
- Cabinet and millwork installation and repair
- General home repairs
- Light demolition and remodeling work
- Other handyman and construction-related projects
What I’m looking for:
- Strong handyman, remodeling, carpentry, or construction experience
- Ability to complete jobs independently
- Good problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers
- Dependable and punctual
- Clean and organized work habits
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to use common construction and remodeling tools safely and correctly
Experience
3+ years of handyman, remodeling, carpentry, or similar construction experience preferred.
More important than a specific number of years is the ability to demonstrate that you can complete professional work independently.
Pay
$25–$30 per hour, based on experience and ability.
