CNC Saw Operator

Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay: $20 per hour

Kelly is seeking a skilled CNC Saw Operator to operate CNC saw equipment and produce high-quality steel and metal components. The ideal candidate is comfortable reading technical drawings, using precision measuring tools, and working safely in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC saws to cut and shape steel and other metal materials according to job specifications.
• Set up equipment by programming CNC saws through CAM software or adjusting stops, guides, and machine parameters.
• Monitor production runs and inspect completed parts to confirm accuracy and compliance with required tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and part specifications.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning equipment and replacing worn or defective saw blades.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle and move raw materials safely throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Experience with shop math, manufacturing processes, material handling, CNC machining, or steel fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with factory math and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle heavy raw materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
