FlexTech is looking for experienced Access Control / Security Technicians to join our growing team! We partner with top commercial contractors throughout Texas and have immediate opportunities for technicians with electronic security experience.
If you have experience installing, servicing, or troubleshooting access control systems, CCTV, or other low-voltage systems, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and troubleshoot commercial access control systems.
Install card readers, electric strikes, mag locks, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and electrified door hardware.
Install and service IP video surveillance (CCTV) systems.
Pull, terminate, label, and test Cat5e/Cat6 low-voltage cabling.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project drawings.
Install conduit, cable tray, and J-hooks as required.
Perform device programming, testing, and system commissioning (depending on experience).
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Travel to project sites throughout the outskirts of San Antonio and Central Texas as needed.
Qualifications
Experience with commercial access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, or structured cabling.
Knowledge of low-voltage installation practices.
Experience terminating Cat5e/Cat6 and installing field devices.
Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings.
Valid Texas Driver's License (Required).
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required by the customer.
