There hinge came from the doors to a firehouse. They are shaped to resemble a fire hose nosell.
These are one of a kind; it is highly unlikely that there is anything similar anywhere. I've been told that they were originally salvaged from a San Francisco Firehouse after the1906 earthquake.
I can't prove that one way or the other. They stand 27 inches tall. They weigh in at approximately 17 pounds each on my bathroom scales. The full set weighs approximately 100 pounds.
Ihave six all told. Two need some attention but can be made as good as new.
They need to be seen to be appreciated. $600.00 or best offer.
