So what Classification do I use to list a tree that was almost cut down by a beaver, but I cut it down so you could use it as a countertop support?? I cut one down 17 years ago when we were putting an addition on our cabin. It's a great conversation piece. I noticed a couple weeks ago that the beavers were at it again. I cut down the tree and harvested the lower portion thinking someone else might enjoy the look in their cabin. I will attach pictures of the one in our cabin, the tree before I cut it down, and the beaver gnawed stump I ended up with. It is 35 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds, so it is very sturdy. I didn't do anything to finish the piece, thinking you might have a different idea of what you want it to look like than me.
