We are seeking an experienced Acoustical Ceiling Estimator to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, knowledgeable, organized, and ready to become a long-term part of our company.
Position Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate estimates for acoustical ceiling projects
* Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project documents
* Perform material and labor takeoffs
* Determine project costs and prepare competitive bids
* Communicate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and project management
* Track bid opportunities and assist with project planning
* Identify potential cost issues or discrepancies before bidding
* Maintain organized and accurate estimating records
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
* Strong knowledge of acoustical ceiling systems, materials, and installation
* Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents
* Strong estimating and mathematical skills
* Must be reliable and punctual
* Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented
* Able to manage deadlines and multiple projects
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Must be able to work 40 hours per week
