Essential Functions:
Operate and maintain a tower
Responsible for tower set-up based on schedules outlined in Authorization to Produce documentation
Perform quality control checks
Calculate transmission speeds
Set-up coating application
Transport material from different departments
Obtain coating, dies, and coating tanks
Record information
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in a similar role preferred
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality work
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient basic math skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to identify colors
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit and stand frequently
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
Ability to reach in front of, below waist level and above head level frequently
Ability to bend, crouch, stoop and twist frequently
Ability to use both hands to feel, finger, grasp and handle frequently
Ability to climb ladders occasionally
Ability to see and feel defects
Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) is an essential function of this position
