1099 Independent Contractor | Flexible Field-Service Position
We are looking for reliable, mechanically inclined ATM & Bank Equipment Installers to join our field-service team. We are hiring both Helper Installers ($150/day) and Lead Installers ($200/day).
This is a flexible subcontractor position. Work volume varies by season and week, but you can generally anticipate approximately 3 days of work per week, with 4+ days possible during peak seasons.
Compensation
* Helper: $150/day per install
* Lead Installer: $200/day per install
* Personal 3/4-ton+ truck: Additional $50/job
* Out-of-town per diem: $25/day
* Hotels: Company-paid when overnight travel is required
* Fuel: Company fuel card provided; company covers fuel
* Additional scopes: Demolition, light construction, concrete, electrical, and other specialty work may qualify for $75–$150+ additional compensation depending on the scope
Approximately 30% of work is out of town, while most local work is within roughly a three-hour drive.
The Work
Crews consist of one Lead Installer and one Helper, typically working with the same partner regularly. Most jobs involve the transportation, rigging, removal, and installation of ATMs, safes, vault equipment, and other bank equipment.
We also perform occasional commercial construction work, so general construction knowledge is important. Experience with concrete, electrical, formwork, demolition, and light construction is highly valuable.
Requirements
Required:
* Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
* General construction or mechanical experience
* Experience pulling and loading trailers
* Ability to safely move and rig heavy equipment
* Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person crew
* Reliable and dependable
* Comfortable with occasional overnight travel
* Willingness to work as a 1099 subcontractor
Preferred:
* Forklift experience
* Heavy equipment or rigging experience
* Construction experience
* Concrete, electrical, or formwork experience
* Own qualifying 3/4-ton or larger pickup truck
Tools are provided by the company, so owning your own tools is not required.
Lead Installer
Lead Installers take responsibility for the job from dispatch through completion, coordinate with the Helper, oversee equipment movement and installation, communicate with customers/job-site personnel, and identify additional scopes of work.
Helper Installer
Helpers work alongside the Lead Installer to load and unload equipment, assist with rigging and installation, perform construction-related tasks, maintain the job site, and learn our installation procedures.
