HUGE Signed VTG 80s 3D Memphis Geometric Minimalist Sculpture Wall Art - $950 (Rolling Meadows)

This bigger than life true vintage 1980s (1982) signed & dated three-dimensional wall sculpture by artist Paul Hedrick is titled "The Big It" & measures a substantial 38.5 inches X 38.5 inches X 7.5 inches deep & weighs approximately 26 lbs.
It is comprised of wood and a stucco/plaster like material.
After going down the rabbit hole a bit in researching, all I could really determine is that the piece must have originally belonged to the massive multinational Law Firm DLA Piper LLP because of a inventory barcode on the back of the piece. (there is a huge branch in Chicago) A merger between multiple smaller law firms happened in 2005 to create DLA Piper LLP. Perhaps the piece belonged to one of the smaller law firms prior to the merger?
As for condition, it has a couple very minor bumps and bruises but all in all it is still in very nice vintage condition, and still an absolutely striking piece. I've included 10 photos, please view them all and reach out if you would like additional.
