Job description:
Our busy Podiatry Office is looking to add a great new medical assistant to our amazing team! This bilingual position is perfect for who is a team player and amazing multi tasker. As our medical assistant you will work directly with our patients to help them feel welcome and comfortable in our office.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff with excellent customer service and professionalism. Reliability is a MUST! Organization and ability to multi task are necessary in our fast paced environment. Medical terminology and Epic EHR experience a huge plus.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Rooming patients, taking vitals and assisting patients
· Starting chart notes and taking patient information
· Drawing injectables safely and efficiently
· Assisting doctor with procedures
· Dressing patient wounds
· Assisting with paperwork and phone calls as needed
· Backing up front office by answering phones and other duties as needed
