Before buying a Chinese mini excavator here is a warning. I purchased one of the 1-ton models, gas, single cylinder motor. It was useless for anything but scratching the surface of the ground, just not enough weight to get anything done and poor workman ship in most of the fittings and panels. #2 Before buying a larger one of the 3,000 to 5,000 lb. models. Make SURE you inspect it thoroughly. I bought one, the left track came off before I had ten minutes on it. Turned out the factory put in the wrong fittings. It ruined the track, so I had to buy new ones from the company. Turns out, the Chinese made tracks would not stay on when I made a sharp turn on grass or dirt. They would stay on when on asphalt or concrete only. The teeth on the bucket broke off within the first hour of use, they were cheap cast metal. The RPM meter quit after 2 hours, the hydraulic pump tore itself apart internally after 3 hours, so I had to buy a good quality American one for about $1,200. The factory put 3/4-inch threaded bolts at the bucket and arm connections instead of 1-inch smooth pins, so when we used the bucket, the threads were tearing the hole apart before we discovered the error. The gas motors are extremely difficult to change oil or change plugs. The factory put in two different plugs, had the valves out of adjustment and several more things.
