I am hoping to find a senior that has a spare room/bath, or an RV, or a garage apartment/studio where my 12 year old Yorkie and I could stay.
I would be deeply grateful. I prefer living with another LGBTQ +senior. The only amount I can afford right now is $300. That at least covers electric and water which are the priorities. I know that's not a lot but I'm trying to find a part-time job or a work from home job that fits my physical limitations. I'm also a certified caretaker. Don't get me wrong I'm very independent at 73 and I can afford my own groceries and internet. A good portion of my social security goes to car payment and insurance, my own phone and internet service, and a storage unit. What I have left of that is $300 to put towards a place to live. I would have another $75 if I could get rid of the storage unit. I'm trying not to be another homeless statistic. Won't someone please help me out without having an agenda just because I'm a female?
