YOUR DRIVER’S ARRIVED
Independent Psychological Thriller Series | Frame Escape Productions
Production beginning soon in Los Angeles / South Bay
DENISE — Female, playing age 27–37
Attractive, intelligent, warm and naturally confident. Denise is successful, independent and socially comfortable, with an easy sense of humor and a grounded presence.
She has been with Eric long enough to believe she knows him completely.
She doesn’t.
While Your Driver’s Arrived initially pulls the audience into Eric’s world, Denise ultimately emerges as the emotional center of the story. As the series develops, she becomes the character through whom the audience experiences much of the fear, uncertainty and discovery—and ultimately the character they are most likely to identify with and root for.
This is not simply “the wife” role.
Denise is a true lead with a substantial character arc. She begins as a woman secure in her marriage and her life, unaware that the person closest to her may be someone entirely different from the man she believes she knows. As that reality slowly begins to fracture, Denise must evolve from partner and observer into someone fighting to understand—and eventually survive—the truth.
We are looking for an actress who can make Denise feel completely real. The performance requires warmth, intelligence, humor and vulnerability without making her weak. Much of Denise’s journey happens in small moments before it becomes overt—a look, a hesitation, a question she doesn’t ask, or the growing realization that something simply doesn’t add up.
Strong chemistry with the actor playing Eric will be extremely important. The audience needs to believe their relationship before we can begin taking it apart.
