I had an add running on New Haven craigslist for months and not getting any decent responses. I'm trying to put together a group with some improvisational prowess and really need a couple more players. Along with practice space I also have a small basement recording studio. I do know how to produce and master recordings and already have the gear. I mainly play guitar and sing, both electric and nylon string. My electric is a 2006 Deluxe Stratocaster, and I have a 1980 Ovation Country Artist nylon string that's acoustic/electric. If you're interested in getting into group that actually plays gigs and does a mix of covers and original material, give me a call. I tend to like older songs for covers, I think tunes with bluesy or slight jazz feel might be best to start with (think Doors, Allmans, Hot Tuna, Grateful Dead, and classic blues songs) I really like a lot of stuff from pre-digital era (60's,70's, and early 80's).
