Hello everyone, I keep posting cause someone is flagging because im not giving in to perverts.
I am reaching out to the community for help during a difficult transition. I was recently homeless, but I finally secured a part-time job. Right now, every dollar I earn goes directly toward paying for my hotel room day-to-day so that my small dogs and I can keep a roof over our heads.
I applied for assistance with Texas Health and Human Services, but I have been waiting almost two weeks for a response. Because all my income is currently going toward keeping our room, I am left with nothing for food for myself or my pets while I wait for that support to come through. I am working hard to get back on my feet, but I urgently need help bridging the gap right now.
I am in need of:
Anything will help im not pick
* Non-perishable food or basic groceries for myself
* Dog food for my small dogs
If anyone has extra food items or dog supplies to spare, or knows of local resources/pantries that can help, please let me know. Any support or leads would mean everything to us right now.
