Great couple, employed in Madison are offering Ranch hand help for partial trade (with some rent) for small house, cottage, guest house in the country. Near Madison area (about 20 miles is OK).
Loyal workers up before 5:00am and available for late afternoon feedings. We know a ranch owner’s perspective (owned 2 small ranches years ago, and then became a lawyer and vet tech for years). We honor their orders precisely. Flexible use: feed animals/monitor condition; clean barns/muck stables; get feed/supplies; complete special projects; monitor/repair fences and ranch property/buildings; and tractor work. If needed, a caretaker role is possible. For larger ranch operations, consider a management role with absolute loyalty and housing trade savings.
Skilled, yet follows directives precisely and absolutely loyal to the owner.
PROPOSAL
Trading work for being able to live on the ranch (a mix of providing payment to you and work-in-trade). We can be very adaptable to small living spaces, or an out-building conversion, or a trailer. We are quite flexible in the terms that will suit you, because what we really want is: peace and quiet, good old well water and a ranch around us that we will treat loyally and care for as if it were our own.
Reliability
I have letters of recommendation from employment, education, and my past and present landlords for which they are all very praiseworthy of my performance and character (all letters available upon request). We are both friendly and respectful, but running a ranch is a business, and that means you need more than just a nice person. What you are probably thinking of hard workers, who are smart, efficient and loyal, which means you are already thinking of us. As for living on your land, please expect overall dependability from a couple who are both trustworthy and decent.
