1963 Sunbeam Alpine GT. It is my understanding that these cars were built in England by the Rootes car company in conjunction with Chrysler. They have all sae bolts and nuts, I have not founds if any metric components. The person who sold me this car told me that the previous owner had a wreck that damaged the right front fender and some damage to hood. It was parked in his garage for over 40 years. The car was almost completely rust free. The only body work I did was to repair the front fender and hood. The car was then taken to body shop and media blasted to metal and painted in the original blue color. The hard top is removeable and does not have a soft top. The motor was left setting for all those years with the anti-freeze in it and was going to be a huge job to repair. I found an exact Sunbeam motor and repaired it. I have all the original parts that will go with this car. I ran the motor on a test stand then put it in the car. Almost everything is new or replaced. The only problem I am having is getting the new clutch to release. There is so much I want to tell you, please call over visit so I can go into more detail. Thanks,
Bill
