This listing is for a used 1963 Chevrolet 283 ci engine. Block Casting #3789935, Block Casting Date Code F 22 3 (June 22, 1963). Cylinder Head Casting #3795896, Cylinder Head Date Codes F 28 3 (June 28, 1963) & G 1 3 (July 1, 1963). Intake Manifold Casting #3746826, Intake Manifold Casting Date Code F 20 3 (June 20, 1963). Front Deck #F0708D, (Not sure but I believe that translates to Assembled in F=Flint, Mi. on 0708=July 08 D=195 HP, Powerglide Transmission). Distibutor ID Tag #1111015, Date Code 3 F 13 (June 13, 1963). Complete engine, was running good when removed from my truck. Engine stand & Crate included. Doesn't include valve covers and thermostat housing. Pictures # 1 & 2 are of when it was in my truck.
Stored in a climate controlled basement.
