Alstroemeria "Katiana" aka Peruvian Lily, Princess Lily, or Parrot Lily in 8" white self-watering planter. Alstroemerias can be hard to find, and this is one of the rare varieties with variegated leaves. Compact variety that blooms with bright red flowers. These are great in containers and also make wonderful long-lasting cut flowers. For those new to growing these, please be aware the most important part of this perennial plant are the underground tubers from which stems grow, and the maturity/size of the plants are based on the size of the rhizome clump rather than upper growth (you pull out the entire flower stem to deadhead). This pot contains a large clump of rhizomes, but depending on when it is purchased, the top growth appearance may vary. Love this plant, but I have another red variety that's too similar to keep both in my limited garden space.
