Our company is a growing wholesale distributor of natural foods based in Portland, covering most of the West Coast. We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist us in our warehouse (and backup driving), and grow with us for the long-term.
Job responsibilities and requirements:
•Receiving shipments
•Pulling orders and rotating stock daily
•Capable of lifting up to 55lbs at a time, frequently
•Cleaning and maintaining warehouse in orderly condition
•Assist with loading delivery vehicles in an efficient and organized manner
•On-call Backup Driving
The Ideal Candidate will be:
•Able to (backup delivery) drive, as needed.
•Able to maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
•Able to read and understand both customer and vendor invoices
•Able to deliver excellent, exceptional customer service
•Able to driving with extreme caution
•Reliable
•Honest and trustworthy
•Communicate politely
•Diligent in their work
•Strong work ethic
•Work well within a team environment
•Have a good sense of direction
•Must be able to pass a background check
•Have an appreciation and understanding of Natural/Organic/Vegan/Gluten-Free and gourmet foods
