It was used to transport a portion of my family's possessions from Missouri to Oregon in August 1947. It has been attic stored since then. It is likely much older, from the nineteenth century.
It is intact, but not in pristine shape. It may be best for shabby chic display, or maybe a stage prop. Perhaps a table base.
It comes with a prewar suitcase. It is the light colored one in the photo.
