Looking for a *LICENSED, INSURED, & BONDED*with ROOF RYDER, skilled independent framing carpenter for 2-3 day (?) exterior structural wood repair in Tigard. WORKERS COMP needed if you use 1099 employees, otherwise not necessary if *only* the business owners are working.
ALL MATERIALS ARE ON SITE. They already have the structural lumber, CDX plywood, flashing, underlayment membrane.
Looking for LABOR RATES only per sistered rafter tails, beam sistering if necessary, dry rot removal per linear foot rate, structural shoring & dead valley cricket.
The Scope & Precautions:
This is a 1990s Monier lightweight concrete tile roof system. We ask that you carefully lift the tiles over the leak zone and perform the needed repairs. This could include sistering rotted rafters from the outside; replacing plywood, sistering the beam, replacing flashing, removing all dry rot, we don't know yet because the roof hasn't been opened. Because the leak is on a post, it would require structural shoring. But we know that they need the framing of a plywood drainage cricket in the dead valley where the leak is, and it needs to be sealed with the waterproof underlayment membrane before carefully resetting the tiles.
