Looking for a licensed, insured, bonded, and skilled independent framing carpenter for 2-3 day (?) exterior structural wood repair for local seniors in Tigard.
ALL MATERIALS ARE ON SITE. They already have the structural lumber, CDX plywood, flashing, underlayment membrane. We can make custom 1" rigid foam-insulated staging platforms, unless you already have one. You do not need to buy anything.
The Scope & Precautions:
This is a 1990s Monier lightweight concrete tile roof system. The work would be from foam-backed crawl boards to distribute weight evenly and protect the tiles. We ask that you carefully lift the tiles over the leak zone and perform the needed repairs. This could include sistering rotted rafters from the outside, replacing the fascia, replacing plywood, replacing flashing, we don't know yet because the roof hasn't been opened. But we know that they need the framing of a plywood drainage cricket in the dead valley where the leak is, and it needs to be sealed with the waterproof underlayment membrane before carefully resetting the tiles.
