Hayden Island Cabinets is looking for a reliable Cabinet Packer / Packaging Associate to join our production team in Portland, OR.
In this role, you will be responsible for carefully packaging finished cabinets and components to ensure they arrive safely to our customers while maintaining our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Package finished cabinets, cabinet components, and accessories for shipment
Wrap and protect products using appropriate packing materials
Verify products and components against work orders before packaging
Label packages and prepare orders for shipping
Inspect finished products for visible damage or defects before packing
Move packaged products to the designated shipping area
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work closely with the production and shipping teams to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, packaging, or cabinet industry experience is preferred but not required
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Basic English communication skills
