- no engine and transaxle!!
- no front windshield!!
- no keys!!
- no rear removeable panel!!
The body is pretty solid, but the floor will need patch panels.
There is a bad spot behind the sliding door too…(orange panel is included for patches)
There’s some bumps and bruises all over… interior is pretty rough.
The roof has been replaced. It’s solid, but it’s not finish bondo’d. It’s hard to see but obvious when ya know!
The brakes and steering work.
Doors close nice.
Sliding door needs some greasing.
There’s a later year rear decklid but no hinges.
The rear tail lights/lenses are in the box.
Lotsa random parts in that pile! (Belt line trim, handle, windows newer seats…)
It’s a great start for a Subaru or whatever conversion. Wouldn’t be a restored show bus, but would be a cool Baja bus (pictured)… or slammed!
It’s got the matching 1971 title for easy registration.

Please don’t expect a cream puff van.
This will take some time and expertise to finish.
I’d have loved this project 15 years ago, but I’ve got a bunch of other projects needing time and $$….
That said, the longer it takes to sell, the higher chance it will be a little bit farther along. And the price will probably be adjusted…
Check pics. If you want to see it it’s in Parkrose.
I’m open to trades as well. Not sure what, but hopefully something smaller, and at least a similar value if I need to flip it.
