Howdy! Hate to do it, but I'm selling my beloved Silvertone 1446. Sometimes referred to as the "Chris Issak" guitar, this fully-hollow (no block, contra 335-style) model came factory-stock with Seth Lover mini humbuckers and a Bigsby, the premium Silvertone offering of the time. This one is all original, with the exception of a bone nut and Tune-O-Matic saddle that I added to improve trem stability, but I still have the original wooden saddle in the original chipboard case. Strung with heavy-ish flats, tuned to D standard. Light patina for a sixty-three year old instrument with no major breaks, repairs, or playability issues.

Historically, these weren't on very many folks' radars, but they must be undergoing a rediscovery since the resurrected Silvertone brand recently reissued them. I've had this one for about a decade. Always gotten tons of compliments on the looks and tone whenever I've gigged with it, and with good reason -- it's a sick instrument and I'm sad to see it go.
