The Nuvio Ice Bath Recovery Pod is an entry level cold plunge ice bath. I got it to make sure I would use it. Actually, we started with a chest freezer converted into an ice bath. From our experience, this worked but was a little awkward. I recommend skipping the ice-chest conversion. Next we got this... the $200 bath on sale for $100... and the entry level chiller from Nuvio. I was surprised by how roomy it was, being 6' 2" 250 lbs. I can sit on the bottom with my shoulders fully submerged. I found myself using it regularly so this week I got the Nuvio Pro Pod which is just a tad bit larger and more sturdy.

This one looks floppy in the photo because it is not full of water. When it is full, it is much more sturdy. You will have to fill it with ice or get a chiller. If you want to fill it with ice, freezing 5 gallon buckets... about 40 lbs. of ice each, is an entry level way to do it.

This ice bath pod is barely used... no real evidence of having been used. It's a great way to see if you will do ice baths.
