New chef-owned restaurant opening THIS COMING SEPTEMBER 16TH and looking for a Garde Manger / Salad Station Line Cook to join our opening kitchen team.
We are looking for someone who either has some restaurant kitchen experience and genuinely wants to learn and grow, or a seasoned line cook who is comfortable taking ownership of a station from day one.
WE HAVE AN AMAZING TEAM ALREADY ASSEMBLED, SO I'M GOING TO BE HONEST — DO NOT WASTE MY TIME WITH BS.
We are building a great kitchen and a great family here. If you are reliable, work hard, communicate, take pride in what you do and genuinely want to learn and grow, this is a great opportunity to join us at the beginning.
If you don't show up, don't communicate, bring drama or aren't serious about the job, this isn't the place for you. Plain & simple.
This position will primarily be responsible for our garde manger / salad station, including salads, cold preparations, plating, station prep and some light frying. We are a small kitchen, so everyone helps each other and there will be opportunities to learn and work other stations as you grow.
The kitchen is open to the dining room, so cleanliness, organization and professionalism are extremely important.
Basic English speaking is required as I am not fluent in Spanish.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide required employment documentation.

Some professional restaurant kitchen experience
Garde manger / salad station experience is a plus
Strong basic knife skills
Comfortable following recipes and executing consistent plating

Able to work as part of a small kitchen team
Weekend availability required
Restaurant is open Wednesday–Sunday for lunch and dinner

Nuevo restaurante dirigido por un chef busca cocinero/a de línea para nuestra estación de garde manger / ensaladas.
Buscamos a alguien que tenga algo de experiencia trabajando en cocinas profesionales y quiera aprender y crecer, o a un cocinero con más experiencia que pueda hacerse responsable de su estación desde el primer día.
Esta posición se enfocará principalmente en ensaladas, preparaciones frías, mise en place, emplatado y algunas frituras ligeras. Somos una cocina pequeña donde todos ayudamos al equipo, y habrá oportunidades para aprender otras estaciones.
Nuestra cocina está abierta al comedor, por lo que la limpieza, organización y profesionalismo son muy importantes.
Se requiere inglés básico ya que no hablo español con fluidez.
Debe estar autorizado para trabajar en los Estados Unidos y poder presentar la documentación laboral requerida.
