I have for sale a nicely restored 1955 Packard 400 two door coupe. This is a classic mid century design and a rare car with only a few thousand produced. This was the top-of-the-line Packard that year, and the fastest car in America that averaged 104 miles per hour in a 24-hour period. It had a complete cosmetic and mechanical restoration when I bought it about 6 years ago. The rebuilt 352 V 8 puts out over 250 horsepower and runs strong and smooth as does the Twin Ultramatic transmission which was rebuilt as well. The car was always maintained as per the owner's manual with grease jobs, oil changes, etc. The interior was nicely redone in a cream colored pleated material with red accents to match the exterior of the car. The power seats, windows and rear antennas are all functional, as is the heat. The tires are about a year old and are radials. There are a few dings in the paint from when the car was briefly in a municipal lot. The chrome is like new and I think is original. There is no rust on this car which was originally from Utah. I recently spent over $2000 for a oil pump replacement to an Oldsmobile unit as these cars were noted for this fixable problem. There are new suspension bushings as well. This car runs, drives and handles beautifully. Over $75000 was spent on this restoration and the price a fraction of that. Come look
