Starting to lighten train collection load by selling my Lionel train transformers. If this one is too big for you, let me know what you need. I also have HO train transformers.
Post-War KW Transformer. The Lionel Type KW train transformers were made 1950-1965. This particular unit is a Type A and was made between 1950 and 1956. At 190 watts, it’s the second largest post war train transformer Lionel made.
It can operate 2 trains independently of each other. Has dual directional controls and Includes a whistle or horn control that operates either train set. Has connections for accessories such as light towers, street lights, switches, buildings, crossing signals, etc.
Has built a built in automatic short circuit breaker with a red light indicator with a bulb that does light up.
